Summer Update!

Hey all!

Here's a quick summer update about what's been happening!

The refugee women of Milwaukee's Newest Artisans participated in the Tosa Farmer's Market this summer and sold 84 baskets, 2 mats, and earned $1,813 in only 8 hours...which turns out to be $226/hour. Not too shabby!

The artisans still get pumped for the sale of every basket and aren't afraid to show their appreciation by showing off their dance moves! Which believe it or not, happens quite often!

We're also grateful to Spectrum 1 News who featured the women in a news story they did last month. If you haven't seen the clip already, check it out! It's less than 2 minutes long, a perfect amount of time to watch while you're sippin' your coffee. :)

The women have endless amounts of opportunity ahead of them and we're doing our best to figure out how to best support them and tap into all of this awesomeness.

As always, thank you for all of your love and support!
